The IP server uses H.264 codec, support PAL and NTSC and can be configured with different resolutions and quality levels. There is an optimized model with JPEG compression and HD resolution directed to video surveillance and supervision specific applications that require a minimum latency time.
The systems have Linux O.S. embedded and connectivity capabilities with other HW through serial interfaces, inputs and outputs. They include memory slots for uSD memory cards and mini USB interfaces that allows local storage and configuration updates.
Firmware updates and configuration changes are remotely executed from a PC or a server through the VCRS (Visstrim Configuration Reference Suite) configuration tool. This tool, distributed with Visstrim systems, establishes an SSH secure connection with the IP server through the generation of public and private keys.
The IP video servers are available in both format: embedded modules (PCB format) or box format with DIN rail mounting option. Some of the versions are opened to include user applications.
